What are the system requirements for using b1gMail?

b1gMail does not limit the count of users and emails, but please keep in mind your available webspace and the power of your server. You should have enough space to host the emails your users store, but you are the one who can decide how many space your users have available in their mailboxes.Can I try b1gMail prior to buying?
Yes. We are offering an online demo and a downloadable trial version. The trial version can be used without limitations for 31 days. You can find the trial version here.Does b1gMail work with PHP's safe mode enabled?
Yes — b1gMail works great with enabled PHP safe mode.How many domains may used with one b1gMail license?
One b1gMail license is valid for one installation, but because of b1gMail's multi-domain abilities, you can offer as many email domains as you like. You may install b1gMail further times if you remove the old installations first so that a time only one copy of b1gMail is installed.Will I get support?
You get free email support within at least 6 months after buying b1gMail. Support includes answers to questions on how to set up b1gMail and how to use it. In case you encounter problems, we are happe to help. We try our best to reply to every inquiry after 24 hours (one working day).This does not include support on how to customize b1gMail's PHP or template code.
How does the order transaction take place?
After ordering b1gMail, you get an invoice by email within a few seconds. After the payment is done (e.g. by PayPal, credit card or bank transfer), we will activate your order within one working day (mostly 1-3 hours) and send you login information to our customer center. In our customer center, you can download the software you have ordered and immediately use it.Where are the emails b1gMail receives stored?
You can choose between storing the emails in entirely in the MySQL database or in the file system. In the latter case, the MySQL database is still used as an index to quickly render the inbox and other mail folders.Storing emails in the file system generally provides the best performance and thus is the recommended way of storage.
What happens if an email with non-existent receiver address is received?
You can choose between rejecting/bouncing the mail and forwarding the email to the Postmaster account.Can I upgrade from b1gMail6 to b1gMail7?
Yes, all user accounts, emails etc. can be converted to b1gMail7. Plugins, language files and templates from b1gMail6 cannot be used in b1gMail7.Is the PHP source code included? May I customize it?
Yes! b1gMail's full PHP source code is included in the full version (not in the trial version!) and may be customized. Please note that we cannot provide support for customized b1gMail copies. b1gMail files may not be distributed to third parties, even if they are modified. Please also see the licensing agreement.Can a b1gMail license expire?
No. b1gMai licenses are valid for a lifetime. But access to new versions (updates) is limited to 1 year starting with the order completion date. You can renew the update access time for a small amount you can find in our price list.In case you do not renew your update access time, you can still use your b1gMail copy in the latest version that was available on the date of update access time expiry.
